As the school holidays approach, the parents and grandparents among you will be happy to know that Langton Community Hub with Langton Pavilion Café is open Tuesday 8th to Friday 11th April, with some lovely activities planned.
Alongside the usual family-friendly café offerings, there'll be easter egg hunts daily & an arts & crafts workshop at 2pm on Tuesday 8th April. Then, on Thursday 10th April, Wonderland will come to Langton Pavilion with a visit from Alice & the White Rabbit. Please note, some of these are bookable-only events - find out exact timings & how to book via Langton Pavilion Cafe or just ask at the café when you next visit for coffee.
From Monday 14 to Thursday 17 April, the pavilion will close but you can still fuel your play dates with barista coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks & sweet snacks from local mobile business The Joe Box which will operate out of the recreation ground car park. Joe Box coffee is ethically sourced & locally roasted by The Tunbridge Wells Coffee Roastery, free-range milk is provided by Hinxden Dairy in Cranbrook & cakes are baked by Speldhurst-based Baketastic. Yum!
Meanwhile, the recreation ground itself is a fine place to spend your time in the holidays. Make the most of the quieter carpark & bring your bikes & scooters, enjoy the playground, all-weather court, zip wire, & acres of green space. Hopefully the sun will shine & you can pack a picnic too – don’t forget we have plenty of picnic benches!
