Councillor Kristi Bains

Kristi and her husband Richard moved from London to Langton Green 13 years ago as they wanted more space to bring up their two young boys.  Kristi had a career in technology sales up until she had her children and then took time off to be a stay at home mom.  Once her youngest started school she retrained as a Personal Trainer and now works part time allowing her to attend her boys school events and taxi them around to their many sporting engagements.  Kristi is extremely active and loves to run, walk or mountain bike in the local trails around Langton, Speldhurst, Groombridge and Penshurst.  Kristi is Canadian and grew up on the stunning Vancouver Island.

 

Having lived in the community for many years now, she has seen first hand where our local services and facilities could be improved and she wants to be a part of making this happen.  She feels that joining the parish council is the most meaningful way to channel that passion into positive, practical change.
