We have received further reports about residents' bonfires, particularly those burning materials that create strong fumes.
The accompanying photo is a reminder from the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council website about best practices when considering a bonfire. Please do read it.
If you are concerned that a neighbour is burning oily rags, rubber, plastics, foam, paint, or other materials that will produce heavy or pungent smoke, try explaining the problem to them in the first instance, if you can. If this is unsuccessful you can email ehadmin@midkent.gov.uk.
