We've been informed by SGN that they will be re-starting work on the A264 Langton Road from Monday 15th March. Please read the details and share with anyone you know that uses that road, particlularly to get to work or school.

At the end of last year, we temporarily postponed our gas mains replacement project on the A264 Langton Road, Tunbridge Wells. We now need to return to the A264 to ensure we continue to provide a safe and reliable gas supply to the local area. This safety-critical project to upgrade the gas network needs to go ahead, rather than wait until the pandemic passes.

Our engineers will be working on the A264 Langton Road from the junction with Newlands and progressing eastbound just beyond the junction with Holmewood Ridge. For everyone’s safety, we’ll install temporary multi-way lights around our site. We’ll manually control these lights 7am-7pm, to assist with traffic flow.
