Several road closures in Speldhurst Parish are likely to affect journeys in the next few weeks, particularly commutes into Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge, and further afield to East Grinstead if you take this route to Gatwick Airport.
These include:
â›”Etherington Hill, Speldhurst, at the 2nd Stockland Green Road junction, from 8th - 19th September. The road will apparently close all the time during this period, for drainage works by KCC.
â›”Barden Road, Speldhurst as you leave the village heading towards Bidborough, from 8th - 10th September (inclusive) 8am - 5pm. The road will close for water works by South East Water.
â›”Ashurst Road, Ashurst, between Ashurst Bridge and Langton Road, there will be overnight closures between 7 pm and 5 am on 11th and 12th September.
Remember to check www.one.network for updates on these and other closures. The interactive map really is the best site for updated info as KCC and utility companies regularly update it, plus, the map clearly shows the suggested alternative routes which is helpful!
