We have received the following update from Kent County Council about the road works on Major Yorks Road:
"The road closure is due to end this Friday 13th, our works will then continue under traffic light control until the works are completed in 2 or 3 weeks."
Hopefully with traffic lights replacing the road closure the congestion will improve, but if you notice the lights aren't working properly/taking too long/not long enough to change and this is making delays worse, please do report it to KCC.
