Never let it be said that Len the Groundsman is afraid of getting his hands (or face) dirty! Today he has been cutting back the overgrowth along the footpath connecting Farnham Lane and Mercers, and will do his best to get around the network of footpaths connecting Langton Green's local roads over the next week or two.
Len is now working two days a week instead of one for the rest of the growing season. Everything has grown fast this year so there is plenty to catch up with.
A gentle reminder that the Parish Council undertakes to cut back the overgrowth on these footpaths and alleyways as a goodwill gesture now that KCC no longer does so. So please be patient with us while we get to it. Len is a very hard worker with an ever-increasing to-do list, and we don't want to lose him.
