If you tried and failed to access the Planning Inspectorate website yesterday to comment on Gatwick Airport's Northern Runway Application, you were not alone. Other local residents who tried to comment before the midnight deadline found a 'page not found' message when they clicked on the 'Register Online' link.

We advise you to email your comments to enquiries@planninginspectorate.gov.uk, cc'ing gatwickairport@planninginspectorate.gov.uk and greg.clark.mp@parliament.uk in on your mail, explaining why you are doing so, and asking for confirmation that your comments will be accepted.
