Does Your Hedge Need a Trim?

Does the hedge at the front of your house border the pavement? If the answer is yes, this is a gentle reminder to check it isn't causing an obstruction and trim it if necessary.

In particular, we've received reports about hedges encroaching pavements on Penshurst Road and Northfields in Speldhurst.

We really do empathise with residents living on these roads, since they are two of the busiest in Speldhurst in terms of parking, and, combined with the narrow pavements the smallest bit of overgrowth becomes an issue for pedestrians to get past safely. But if you can have a cut back so that people, especially those with pushachairs and mobility aids aren't forced into the road, that would be wonderful.
