Road Safety Improvements

Road Safety Improvements – Have Your Say

The Parish Council has been pushing for road safety improvements across our villages. While Tunbridge Wells Borough Council is not responsible for roads, it has provided parishes with one-off funding for road safety projects. All schemes must be designed and approved by Kent County Council (KCC).

We have now received KCC’s designs. There is an error in the Groombridge plans however, which show new 30/50mph signs when the speed limit on Groombridge Hill is in fact 40mph. This will need to be amended.

We would very much welcome your views. Please send any feedback to the Parish Clerk clerk@speldhurstparishcouncil.gov.uk by Sunday 25 January.

We look forward to hearing from you.
