Councillor Neil Barrington-Johnson
Neil moved to Langton Green with his wife and two sons in 2002. Although he lived and worked abroad for five years from 2006 his family, and his home, remained in Langton Green. Having returned from his overseas assignment Neil retired in 2013 and, with the luxury of available time and finally a stable schedule, looked for ways to contribute to his local community. He was co-opted to the Parish Council in May 2014 and was elected as Chairman in June 2015. As Chairman he is an ex-officio member of all Committees.
Neil was on the Langton Green fete committee from 2011 to 2018 and is also a member of the Langton Green Village Society Committee.

Four generations of Katrina's family have lived or are living in the parish. After spells in Germany, Tonbridge, London and New Zealand, Katrina settled in Langton Green in 2005. Her two children attended the local village school, where Katrina is still a Governor, and are now at secondary school in Tunbridge Wells.
Katrina's primary motivation is to maintain our parish as a great place to live. When she's not being a councillor, governor, mum or walking the dogs, Katrina works from home using her legal and asset finance experience and has unfulfilled gardening aspirations.
Councillor Judy Price
Judy comes from Bath but has lived in and around Tunbridge Wells since 1990 moving to Speldhurst in 2002. She is married and has four almost-grown children and a motley assortment of pets.
Judy worked as a town planner for Tunbridge Wells Borough Council until 2006, specialising in the environment, sustainability and town centres. She then went self—employed, advising local authorities on environment and conservation. Now retired from (paid) planning work, Judy is a part-time teaching assistant which she enjoys immensely.
Judy was co-opted to the Parish Council in April 2016 and currently chairs the Planning Committee and the Environment Group. The Planning Committee comments on every planning application in the Parish and also keeps a close eye on changes in national planning policy and the emerging Local Plan. Judy is passionate about protecting the character of the AONB, the Green Belt and our historic villages whilst also supporting initiatives that keep our communities lively, fun and thriving.
