Councillor Hugh Cleaver

Hugh Cleaver was co-opted to Speldhurst Parish Council in June 2023. He is a member of the Finance, Highways and Planning Committees.

Hugh is a Graduate of Cambridge University and a Chartered Accountant, latterly acting as a Finance Director before retiring in 2017. He moved with his wife from South Woodford to Langton Green in 2022, and is enjoying living nearer to family in the Tunbridge Wells area.

Hugh has a keen interest in History and Archaeology, having been Treasurer of the London and Middlesex Archaeology Society.

We are delighted to benefit from Hugh's previous experience as a Councillor for the Church End ward of the London Borough of Redbridge, a role he held for an impressive 28 years.

You can contact Hugh via the Clerk, and view his Notification Form here.
