TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

Coach Road, Rusthall – From A264 Langton Road to Rusthall Road from 19 June 2018 - 09:30 to 15:30hrs for up to 2 days.  Alternative route via Rusthall Road and A264 Langton Road and vice versa.

Lower Green Road, Rusthall - From Rusthall Road (crossroads) to Cranwell Road - 19 June 2018 - 09:30 to 15:30hrs for up to 2 days. Alternative route via Cranwell Road, Bretland Road and Rusthall Road and vice versa. The closures are to enable carriageway resurfacing remedial works to be carried out by KCC Highways.

Hayesden Lane, Bidborough – 3 July 2018 for 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs – Penshurst Road to Lower Hayesden Lane.  Alternative route via Upper Hayesden Lane, Brook Road, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road, B2176 Bidborough Ridge and Penshurst Road and vice versa – Penshurst Road to Lower Hayesden Lane. Alternative route via Upper Hayesden Lane, Brook Road, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road, B2176 Bidborough Ridge and Penshurst Road and vice versa.

A26 St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells – from 1 August 2018 for up to 20 working nights between 21.00hrs and 06.00hrs.  The road will be closed between Speldhurst Road and Culverden Park. The alternative route for all traffic under 3.5 Tonnes (Cars, Light vehicles and buses) is via Yew Tree Road, High Brooms Road, Highfield Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, Meadow Road, Goods Station Road, Grosvenor Road, A26 St Johns Road and vice versa.  For All Traffic over 3.5 Tonnes (LGV’s and HGV’s) the route is via A26 London Road, A264 Church Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury By Pass, A2014 Vauxhall Lane, A2014 Pembury Road, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road and vice versa.  The closure is to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out by KCC Highways.

Speldhurst Parish Council's office is situated at the Langton Green Recreation ground adjacent to the village hall.

Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9.30am to 1pm; Wednesday 2pm to 5pm and closed on Thursday

If these hours are inconvenient please contact the clerk to make an appointment.

All Parish Councillors give their time to the community for no remuneration and the hours they spend every week on Council business are considerable.
