Stockland Green Road from 8th August for up to 3 days for kerb line replacement works to be carried out

A26 St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells – from 1 August 2018 for up to 20 working nights between 21.00hrs and 06.00hrs.  The road will be closed between Speldhurst Road and Culverden Park. The alternative route for all traffic under 3.5 Tonnes (Cars, Light vehicles and buses) is via Yew Tree Road, High Brooms Road, Highfield Road, Upper Grosvenor Road, Meadow Road, Goods Station Road, Grosvenor Road, A26 St Johns Road and vice versa.  For All Traffic over 3.5 Tonnes (LGV’s and HGV’s) the route is via A26 London Road, A264 Church Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury By Pass, A2014 Vauxhall Lane, A2014 Pembury Road, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road and vice versa.  The closure is to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out by KCC Highways.

A264 Ashurst Hill, Ashurst – from 11 August 2018 for up to between 21.00hrs and 05.00hrs.  The road will be closed at the railway bridge. The alternative route is via A264 Watch Oak Hill/Colestock Road, B2026 Edenbridge Road, B2110 Castlefields /Withyham Road/Groombridge Hill, A264 Ashurst Road and vice versa. The closure is to enable bridge examination works to be carried out by Network Rail.

A264 Langton Road - from Monday 15th October for 5 weekday nights. resurfacing works between junctions from The Green to Farnham Lane. Works will be undertaken with full road closure between the hours of 20.00 and 06.00 for 5 nights. Alternative routes to be advised.


Speldhurst Parish Council's office is situated at the Langton Green Recreation ground adjacent to the village hall.

Opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9.30am to 1pm; Wednesday 2pm to 5pm and closed on Thursday
